| Chapter Dinner Meetings
 Except
for the Summer months, when
we are conducting other association
function, seminars, training
classes, etc. we have Chapter
Dinner Meetings, alternating
between a South Broward County
hotel and the popular Don
Shula Hotel in Miami Lakes.
Dinner is preceded by an
hour of reception and mixing,
where general contractors
get to meet informally with
suppliers and subcontractors.
 Each meeting features
a program on one or more of the timely issues affecting the industry.
We have hosted 200 and more to dinners featuring subjects such
as Partnering, Legislation, Florida Building Code, Labor Shortages,
Safety and OSHA, Increasing Business Opportunities, Mold, litigation,
and many, many others. Our guest speakers have included Mayor
Alex Penelas, MDCPS Superintendent Merritt Stierheim, Broward
County Commissioners Lori Parrish, Suzanne Gunzberger, former OSHA Director
Luis Santiago and many, many others.
